The flap opening measures 170mm wide by 230mm tall making this insertable pet door ideal for most cats, Yorkies, Maltese, Papillons, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, French Bulldogs. This pet door insert is suitable for most sliding door openings, extendable up to 214cm tall.

Durable Aluminium Construction: Built for the toughest of install situations, this tough metal dog door is non-corrosive and rust resistant, lasting for years to come.

Fibreglass Insect Screen: This durable, UV resistant fibreglass mesh keeps insects out while still allowing airflow inside your home. Perfect for letting in fresh air.

Weather Resistant: The magnetic centring catch built into the flap ensures that it will always stay closed when not in use. Add Weather Panels to seal mesh panels and block out the outdoors.

Tool-less Easy Install: No tools are required during the simple four step install process. Easily install and remove the pet door as needed.

Rental Safe: The Patio Pet Door is perfect for those renting with pets or homeowners that don't want to make permanent changes to their home.

Customise to suit your home and pet: Flap measures approx. 35mm high from the ground. Add Height Extensions to the top of your pet door to suit taller doorways or to the base to increase the height of the flap to accommodate for steps.

Height Extensions & Weather Panels for the Patio Pet Door are sold separately.

*Not suitable for double sliding doors that join in the middle, pet door requires door frame edge for secure install

*Please note, the pet door or flap is not lockable. It is however designed for quick installation and removal, allowing you to lock your main door whenever necessary

"Works really well. Had to buy 2 extensions as our door is large but only needed one in the end. Our doors are double sliding. We live in the tropics so they are mostly open all day and closed in the evenings. We can leave the Doggy door on the track and it will gently slide across to open or close. There are no wheels but its light so moves easily (once your gentle). Its perfect for a balcony. Dog loves it, he got used to it quickly and has no issues going in or out at night. No bugs and we've had the AC on in the evenings and no drafts. Happy with purchase."

Large Mesh Patio Pet Door

"This is the second Patio Pet Door I have purchased from Hakuna (as my puppy grew out of the first one). I love the versatility of the product, how easy it is to install and the freedom it gives my dog to move in and out of the house. Its also great that you can get extra accessories as my dog is particularly tall. The only thing id highlight is that there is no way to lock your door whilst using the Pet Door, so security is a factor to consider. I also found that the magnet on the bottom of the Large Pet Door doesnt seem to be as strong as the one on the Medium door."
